Harbor attack tactic

Basically very simple: head for the harbor cannon, turn about, fire, turn.

Repeat the steps until all harbor cannons are detroyed. You can not win a static fight.
Do not use the space bar to skip time. Analyse the situation and plan your route towards the cannons and your escape route.
Be aware of rocks in the water. You should not scratch them while your are within the harbor cannon fire range.
Choose a fast ship with a high agility and good fire power. The crew is less important, you will not have time to reload. One attempt is one shoot, not more.
You should have more or less direct tailwind on your way towards the harbor cannon. There are slightly different tutorials to find.
Do not change your ammunition and do not try to board the cannons...
Head for the first harbor cannon, do not care about all the other cannons you might see, they will not hit you.
When you are within the harbor cannons fire range it will immediately open fire. You have ~0,2 sec for a little turn about (no complete turn!). Only change your course for a split second then go back to your first course towards the tower. Another split of a second later you should turn and the cannonball should fall in the water next to you.
3 clicks: turn about, back, turn. This will get you close to the harbor cannon.
Watch your turn. When your broadside faces the harbor cannon: fire! If you did everthing right, the complete broadside should hit it. Only with the help of the tailwind and your high speed the complete broadside can hit the cannon.
Even other harbor cannons will not hit you as the three clicks are one series. Do not try to dodge them, just hope they will not hit you. Most of the time they do not.
Without the turn about only half of your broaside would have hit the harbor cannon. With some pratice you can beat every tower in 2-4 rounds and it will get a piece of cake.
If you are slower than 7 knots it ist most likely that you can not dodge the shoot. Take an undamaged ship from your convoy that is faster.
You should turn in a 180° angle, as you would have to sail headwind. Sometimes, when you got very close to the harbor cannon, it fires a second time. Try to dodge the shoot with a second turn about.
