The autostart menu crashes

This can have multiple reasons: 

- Is the game cd recognized by Windows? If so, a menu should show up. If the autostart menu does not appear you have to open your cd drive manually by using the Windows Explorer or My Computer. Open the setup resp. setup.exe manually, the installation should start.

- Together with the autostart menu a music file is loaded which might cause problems. You can try the following steps to solve the issue:

- Install the latest Windows Media Player^TM. The latest audio codecs will be installed automatically.
- In case you have installed additional codec packs you could try to uninstall them.
