On start: "translation files not found"

In case of this error the translation files of Port Royale 2 have been damaged or changed. This might be the result of an improper exit or crash of the game.

Uninstall and reinstall the game. Make sure all unnecessary background programs and processes are terminated, e.g. anti-virus tools, system cleaner,..., as they can case this issue.
