On start: "Virus Detected! (#5000)"

 

This issue can have multiple reasons:

- Make sure your system is virus free.

 

- Uninstall may existing virtual CD-drives and emulators like Daemon Tools oder Alcohol 120%.

 

- Make sure no program runs in debug-mode. This is the case for some anti-virus tools. Check in your control panel if DirectX® runs in debug-mode.

 

- Deactivate or remove debug and/ or system analyse tools, e.g. Dr. Watson, TCPView, Process-Explorer.

 

- Port Royale 2 is not likely to work on a virtual machine, e.g. under Linux.
